Can you believe that people were and are locked up for abhorrences they didnt commit? This is what happens when we dont have the ripe technology. In such a case a military personnel named James Bain was send to prison for 35 years. He worn- give away(p)(a) more time in prison for a crime that he didnt commit than any other inmate. He has spent basically his whole life behind parallel bars for being convicted of a crime that proved him innocent. James Bain was 19 in 1974 when he was convicted on charges of kidnapping, burglary and strong arm scandalize [ (Innocence Project of Florida, 2012) ]. He spent more than three decades in prison for kidnapping a 9 year obsolete boy and raping him in a field close by. The 9 year honest-to-goodness was shown a lineup of photos which he pointed out Mr. Bain. Bain had told the police his alibi which was he was at home with his couple sister watching the television. The police did not believe him and he was arrested. There were no more questions, they just locked him up and threw away the key. On December 17, 2009; James Bain was released from prison. He was convicted due to mi viewntification by an eye witness and due to lack of technology. When Bain went to trial the ball club year old boys underwear were entered as evidence.
It was proven that at that place was no workable way for Bain to have raped the boy, nevertheless the testimony of the boy took over the case. The nine year old boy told the police that the suspect had sideburns so during the line up the police only used one man with side burns and the cops pushed the boy to say it was Bain. While serving his 35 years in prison, Bain sent five motions to seek DNA testing all of which were denied. Finally, the Innocence Project of Florida (IPF) came to Bains rescue. They sent off for DNA results and finally received help and support. The results came choke freeing Bain on all charges and that there was no possible way Bain raped that boy.
