DYNAMIC BALANCING
OBJECTIVE:

The fundamental objectives of this laboratory are:

1. 1) comment the effect of sick masses on slashings of a rotor,
2. 2) Balance the rotor theoretically,
3. 3) Balance the rotor experimentally.

Dynamic disembowels are associated with accelerating mass, and since virtually all machines contain accelerating parts, dynamic forcefulnesss are always present. The dynamic forces that are transmitted to the disgorge of the machine are in general time bod and impart vibratory motion to the set up. The net dynamic or unbalanced force acting on the frame of a machine or mechanism is referred to as the shaking force. Likewise, a resultant unbalanced flake acting on the frame is called a shaking moment.

In the case of a rotor, unbalanced masses create time dependent shaking force and shaking moment that cause vibration. The shaking force and moment may be minimized by counterbalancing in such a manner that the resultants of the inertia forces and the inertia moments are tally to zero. This process of minimizing or eliminating the dynamic forces and moments is called as dynamic balancing.
