Kahlo was innate(p) on July 6, 1907, but she often told those who met her that she was born in 1910, to get wind herself as a daughter of the Mexican Revolution. At the youthfulness age of six, Frida contracted polio. She would live, but was quellricted to bed rest for nearly a year, one leg that was shorter than the other, and ulcers in her feet that would subsequent cause the need to amputate her right leg.
At fifteen, Frida put on the National Preparatory School, where she studied biology and physiology, in hopes of becoming a doctor, which would later be used in many of her pieces. At eighteen, Frida was severely injured in a sight accident, in which she was pierced with a metal rod finished her pelvis, in addition to many broken bones and inseparable bleeding. Her spine had been pushed so far out of place and her pelvis so severely damaged that she was forced to wear capacious body casts to help aid in her healing process. Frida would neer across-the-boardy recover from her injuries, and the pain would plague her until she died. Frida began to cay and die hard to pass the time during her mandatory bed rest, teaching herself to paint and then learning photography from her father.
While in school, Frida began her mutinous fascination with political activism. While studying she met her future hubby Diago Rivera, a man who was known for his awe-inspiring murals and political controversies. They had a tumultuous relationship that began in marriage in 1928 and finish once in divorce, only to begin again with some other marriage a few years later.
