Analyzing Emotions

William James says that the body is boss. He says we cant submit to feel or not feel emotions as physiologic alterations nor can we fake them. Alison Jaggar says culture and our relationship with cultural situation is boss. She says culture determines what counts as an appropriate steamy response to any given situation. We may try to fake these changes with our voluntary muscles barely we cannot fake the tears or sweat.
